What a difference a year makes...

A year ago I started to think about taking a leap into the unknown and starting my own business as a freelance designer and illustrator.

I can't believe how much has happened since then.

Winning my first client - and sending my first invoice - is something I will never forget.

I'm now settled into my own studio at the beautiful Storey in the heart of Lancaster.

And most importantly I've built up a small but mighty band of diverse clients I absolutely love to work with.

This includes an artisan ice cream maker, speciality coffee roaster and premium interior designer.

I also work with a fantastic yoga studio, awesome cloud accounting practice, innovative software company, amazing new café and a brilliant initiative to encourage more women to enter the digital and creative industries.

Thank you to everyone that helped me on the journey so far - your advice and support has been invaluable.
